Exploration

Exploration is a costly and complex undertaking. Every second counts. Information is key.  You need to be able to extract every possible nugget of value out of the survey exploration data.

Offshore, Quad has several partners in its development of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV).  Quad’s offering takes advantage of a modular sensor bay that can accommodate various exploration technologies, including a gravity meter. Bringing the gravity observations nearer to the source will allow for better modeling of the geologic formation. For the highest precision gravity exploration, our on-bottom technology yields precise gravity values at fixed stations with highly accurate vertical positions.
